Last Tuesday, 25th July 2023, Anku.Anku At-Law had the privilege of attending a full-day Training/Workshop at Best Western Premier Hotel, organized by the Ghana Industrial Property Office. The event, facilitated by ARIPO, focused on enlightening IP Agents in Ghana about the efficient use of the ARIPO e-service platform in our Industrial Property Registration Services.
During the workshop, Mr. Charles Pundo provided a comprehensive overview of ARIPO, detailing its origins, membership, and remarkable achievements to date. We also received invaluable insights into best practices to ensure successful applications. Mr. Gregory Njowola, representing the Director General, Mr. Bemanya Twebaze, further elucidated the various components of the online platform, showcasing its seamless functionality.
The key features of the ARIPO e-service platform impressed us immensely. E-filing of applications, E-payment of fees using VISA, and online data exchange are just a few of the platform’s capabilities. Additionally, the ability to track applications and receive timely notifications from the ARIPO office greatly enhances efficiency.
As a firm that has been utilizing the e-service platform since its inception, we commend ARIPO for their dedication to streamlining the application process. We encouraged them to continue their commendable work and strive for further improvements.
The workshop also offered a fantastic opportunity to network with other agents, sharing ideas and experiences to enhance our services and better serve our clients.
